Trust Matters

Ensuring Your Safety, and results

Trust is essential in nearly every aspect of our lives. It forms the foundation of healthy relationships, and it’s especially important when it comes to the hands that work on your face.

I have worked in the medical aesthetic and laser field for many years, treating men and women who trusted me with advanced, sometimes invasive treatments. Microblading and permanent makeup are a whole different ballgame, but my background in aesthetics has made a huge difference. It has given me the knowledge and precision to work safely and effectively, even on the most delicate skin. This experience ensures that every treatment I provide is professional, safe, and held to the highest quality standards, but sadly, not every artist has the same background or proper training. How much do you know about Microblading and Nano-blading?

Microblading and nanoblading are advanced, highly skilled techniques designed to enhance the shape and appearance of your eyebrows. They create fine, pigmented strokes that mimic natural hair, whether your brows are full, sparse, or missing due to over-plucking or medical conditions.

These techniques are semi-permanent, typically lasting a couple of years depending on your skin type, medications, and lifestyle. The pigment is deposited into the epidermis, the top layer of the skin, which naturally sheds cells over time. If you choose not to continue with annual touch-ups, the pigment will eventually fade completely.

Many artists perform microblading, but not everyone fully understands the skin anatomy they are working with due to limited training or experience. In Arizona, microblading and permanent makeup (PMU) are not yet regulated, anyone can become a PMU artist with no prerequisites. Without proper training, these artists can cause lasting damage to clients’ brows.

Although PMU training facilities are legally required to be licensed by the state board to offer vocational programs, many instructors teach illegally, rushing through training over a weekend course or online program. This leaves new artists lacking the necessary knowledge and skills.

For this reason, it’s crucial for every client to carefully research and select a qualified microblading or PMU artist before committing. Here are some tips to guide you in your search.
